Comparison of 2 types of mid-urethral sling for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence

Women with stress incontinence will be randomized to a traditional mid-urethral sling (TMUS) or the newer transobturator (TOT) sling. Proponents of the TOT propose that it as effective as the TMUS but safer. Long-term durability of Renessa Collagen Remodeling Therapy for the treatment of Stress Incontinence.

The Renessa collagen remodeling system is an in-office therapy that uses radiofrequency therapy to treat stress incontinence in women. The procedure is incisionless and is performed under local anesthetic in the office. No recovery time is necessary. This current study is enrolling women to evaluate the efficacy of the procedure over 3 years post treatment.
