MICHAEL NOONE, MD
Dr. Noone is a native of the East coast, but is now a converted Midwesterner & Chicagoan. Dr. Noone attended Medical school at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loyola University Medical Center. He completed fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dr. Noone joined the division of Urogynecology at Lutheran General Hospital after completing his fellowship in 1996. He is one of the founding physicians of Illinois Urogynecology, LTD. Dr. Noone is active in evaluation of new technology, including robotic surgery. His special interests include improved methods of surgically correcting prolapse in women, and the treatment of women with Painful Bladder Syndrome. Dr. Noone is a leader in the area in the application of sacral Interstim Neuromodulation.
Dr. Noone is Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a Lecturer for the Chicago Medical School.
In addition to Lutheran General Hospital, Dr. Noone provides patient services at Edward Hospital, Rush-Copley Medical Center, Central DuPage Hospital, Northwest Community Hospital and Rush North-Shore Medical Center.
Dr. Noone, his wife and 4 daughters live in the Northern Suburbs. Dr. Noone completed his first Iron Man Triathalon in the summer of 2006.
