Welcome to all women who are interested in learning more about Urogynecology; incontinence, prolapse and other pelvic floor dysfunctions and to anyone who wants to learn about these matters on behalf of a woman you care about.

Welcome to our site where you will find information and resources to help women with pelvic floor dysfunction- including: urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction, urinary retention, painful bladder syndrome, menorrhagia, desire for sterilization or permanent birth control, pelvic muscle incoordination, pelvic neuropathy, fecal incontinence, and sexual dysfunction related to pelvic floor dysfunction.

Our History

Illinois Urogynecology, LTD was founded in 2003. One year later, two centers of excellence, the Northwestern division, originally based in Park Ridge, IL and the Southwest division, originally based in Oak Lawn, IL, joined to form the expanded and improved IULTD. Our physicians and staff have training and experience that is un-paralleled in the Chicago area. Our locations continue to expand. Recheck the site frequently to learn of new physicians, locations and hours.

Announcement:
As of January 1, 2012, the Southwest Division (Drs. Elser and Furlong, K. Cavato and V. Laskey) will have a new name: the Women’s Health Institute of Illinois. The phone number (708-499-9800) and locations (Oak Lawn, Orland Park, and Downers Grove) remain the same.
